Kaboord Joins Beehive PR

St. Paul, Minn. - Katharine Kaboord has joined Beehive PR as account manager. She was previously an account executive at Weber Shandwick/Minneapolis.

Kaboord has four years of public relations and marketing experience spanning local, national and international markets. She works in the areas of research, crisis communication, media relations, executive visibility, tradeshows and grassroots outreach. Kaboord also has extensive experience leveraging the Web to help companies meet their business and communications goals.

She has worked with organizations in the defense and energy industries, as well as finance and higher education. Previously, Kaboord provided field and outreach support for non-profits and political campaigns. Her work has contributed to local and national client recognition, including several Web Marketing Association WebAwards, Minnesota Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Classics, Minnesota International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Bronze Quills, an IABC Gold Quill and a Holmes Report SABRE Certificate of Excellence.

Kaboord is a graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in communication. She is a member of PRSA and serves on the Minnesota chapter’s communications committee. She also volunteers her professional services to Twin Cities-based non-profit organization Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota.
