Finance & Commerce Honors Minnesotans on the Move

Finance & Commerce by Dan Heilman, Staff Writer - Finance & Commerce on Wednesday presented the winners of its 2010 Minnesotans on the Move awards during a reception at the Hyatt in Minneapolis.

The award was created last year in conjunction with Finance & Commerce's 120th anniversary celebration, and the response to the publication and event tied to the awards prompted us to make both an annual occurrence.

The honorees were chosen from dozens of outside nominations, as well as suggestions from Finance & Commerce's editorial staff. While the criteria for selection were relatively informal, the judges looked for people in Finance & Commerce's coverage areas who seemed poised to become much more prominent in their respective industries during the coming years.

Watch for a special photo section next week that will depict many of this year's honorees.
